Anniversary of Winston Churchill's "Iron Curtain" Speech

On March 5, 1946 during a trip with President Harry Truman he was invited to speak at Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri. There was a huge buzz although Churchill was there as a private citizen not a political figure. His comments were rich with what would become the United States' position on the Soviet Union during the Cold War. Where have these types of opinionated and strong leaders gone. To much political correctness in the world today. Thank you for being a friend of the US Mr. Churchill!
